MyVicinity (I know there is no advertising allowed on the board but....) offers home visits for computers and one to one training on computers. We have been providing this service on the Costa Blanca for the last 6 years and our people are Microsoft trained MCT and MCP plus FAETC / Cert Ed in adult education.

If you are member of the English Speaking Club we provide group sessions [b:2pqzi5gb]FREE OF CHARGE[/b:2pqzi5gb] every Wednesday 12:00am to 14:00 when we adjourn for a drink in the bar. Please note this is ONLY available to members of the English Speaking Club in San Juan. 4 times per year commencing in November 2009 we offer a course for 3 consecutive Wednesdays from 10:00 to 12:00 for begineers to computing and those that want to learn more about their uses with communication. These courses are again FREE of CHARGE to members of the ESC.

Having now started on the recovery road I am getting organised for the first of the 3 week sessions commencing in December. These sessions will be aimed at new (or newish users) covering topics ranging from 'starting to operate your computer', software, using it safely and using it sensibly and safely on the internet. The sessions which are FREE to members will be for 3 consecutive Wednesdays from 10 - 12.

There is already considerable interest in this and sessions will be limited to a maximum of 10 persons. A notice for you to put your name down will be up on the notice board on Sunday 1st November and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

My Parents live in El Campello and I would like to set them up with a computer and broadband. I am visiting them in March and am hoping I can arrange for a laptop and broadband to be setup by the time I get there. I am working on the assumption that I need to get a Broadband service ordered asap to ensure it is installed by then and wondered if you could help. I am happy to work with you directly via e-mail and pay for your companie's services to assist making the decision on what to order and testing it once it is installed - is this possible. I don't believe there would be any value in discussing this with my parents at this stage as they are completely new to this computer world. Any help/advice you can offer along with indication of rates for your time would be much appreciated.
